January Newsletter

Dear Neighbors,

I would like to begin by thanking all of you for your renewed trust in me. Sending me to Springfield to once again represent our community is a tremendous honor and an extremely serious responsibility. I will continue to fight and advocate for the issues that matter most to our community – and for policies that benefit the entire state.

Illinois is a large and diverse state, and good state policy takes that into account.

For example, our district is not known for being an agricultural powerhouse. But statewide, the agriculture and related industries in our state feed our nation and serve as a crucial engine of economic growth for Illinois. I am honored to have received the Friend of Agriculture award from the Lee County Farm Bureau for my work to create greater growth and sustainability in Illinois’s agricultural industry.

As always, if there is any issue that my office can assist with, please reach out anytime at 847-486-8810 or to info@gonggershowitz.com.

Sincerely,

Representative Jennifer Gong-Gershowitz

Rep. Gong-Gershowitz Sworn into 104th Illinois General Assembly

I am honored and humbled that the voters of Illinois’ 17th State House District have again trusted me to represent our community in Springfield. Our state faces real challenges ahead. I value the opportunity to continue advocating for the values and the rights that we as Illinoisans share.

On January 14th, I had the pleasure of meeting Ashleigh Erbes from Lee Country Farm Bureau and was honored to be recognized with a Friend of Agriculture Award. Supporting Illinois Farm Families and Illinois Agriculture has always been a high priority of mine and I value the opportunity to be Lee County’s Adopted Legislator. Together we are paving the path forward for a more sustainable future for the next generation. I am looking forward to our continued partnership and collaboration in 2025.
