September Newsletter

Dear Neighbors,

As fall approaches, it’s important to take a moment to appreciate the beautiful natural environment around us. We are incredibly lucky to sit next to Lake Michigan and its fantastic beaches. I hope you are enjoying the wonderful parks across the 17th District, and taking part in some of the events that help us join together as a community.

Just as summer is winding down, the upcoming legislative session is approaching. My staff and I will be working on developing my legislative agenda for 2025 so please reach out with thoughts and ideas about how we can make Illinois work better for you.

As always, if there is any issue that my office can assist with, please reach out anytime at 847-486-8810 or to info@gonggershowitz.com.

Sincerely,

Representative Jennifer Gong-Gershowitz

Skokie Awarded Grant to purchase Electric Vehicles

It was great to join Governor JB Pritzker and the Village of Skokie recently to celebrate a new program designed to help electrify Skokie’s municipal fleet and reduce carbon emissions. This program was made possible by the Climate and Equitable Jobs Act, which I was proud to support in 2021.

Intern Highlight!

From attending local and state events to assisting with constituent services, our interns were hard at work this summer! They completed their internships last month and are now back off to school.

Thank you Maya, Lauren, Marco and Sarah for helping out in the 17th District this summer!
