December Newsletter

Dear Neighbors,

The holiday season is upon us and like many of you, I am eager to spend time with my family and celebrate our favorite traditions.

I am hard at work preparing legislation for the 2024 legislative session. If you have any ideas or concerns you would like to share, please contact my office. The deadline to file legislation is rapidly approaching and input from concerned constituents like you is vital to my work in Springfield.

As always, if you are ever in need of resources or assistance, do not hesitate to contact my office. We are available weekdays at (847) 486-8810, you can also email us at info@gonggershowitz.com.

Sincerely,

Representative Jennifer Gong-Gershowitz

17th District Blue Ribbon Schools!

This year I am incredibly proud to see that three schools across the 17th District have been recognized at National Blue Ribbon Schools. Northbrook Junior High, Glenbrook North High School and Ramona Elementary. Please join me in congratulating them on all of the hard work from our teachers and students that went into this distinguished honor.

Rep. Gong-Gershowitz receives an ‘A’ on her 2023 Gun Safety Report Card

I am honored to have received an ‘A’ rating from Gun Violence Prevention Network for my work this past legislative session. I am especially proud of my work on HB218, the Firearm Industry Accountability Act (FIRA), which holds gun manufacturers accountable for dangerous sales and marketing tactics that contribute to real world violence.
