September Newsletter

Dear Neighbors,

Happy Fall! I hope you and your families are enjoying being back to school, the abundance of pumpkins and the variety of Fall Festivals around town. Please take some time to check out what my staff and I have been up to recently around the District, as well as some exciting events that are coming up.

While we are working hard to prepare for next year’s legislative session, we would love to hear from you about the State issues that matter to you most. Please feel free to reach out to my staff to let them know what you are most concerned about.

Additionally, as always, if you are ever in need of assistance, do not hesitate to contact my office. We are available weekdays at (847) 486-8810, you can also email us at info@gonggershowitz.com.

Sincerely,

Representative Jennifer Gong-Gershowitz

Insider’s briefing with ADL at Temple Jeremiah

This bill creates civil penalties for “doxing” or publishing someone’s personal information online in an attempt to harass, expose or cause harm to an individual. David also gave an update on Antisemitism and the extremist behavior that ADL has been tracking nationally.

Niles Township Respite Center Tour

On August 28, my staff and I toured the Niles Township Respite Center, located in St. Paul Lutheran Church in Skokie. We had the opportunity to see the facilities and learn about the relief and programming it offers.
